Swilly Seals actively encourages swimmers to take part in all competitions organised by Clubs, Swim Ulster and Swim Ireland during a season. Anyone new to competitions will find lots of useful information on the first 2 tabs below and can also approach coaches / competition secretary for guidance as required. Entry to galas is made via the club (with the exception of schools and community games competitions) and the requirements for valid entry are set out below.

Gala Entry
When entering swimmers for a Gala/Competition ensure all details of the published Meet Information are read thoroughly beforehand.
Please email swimmers' entries to gala@swillyseals.ie by the club's notified deadline, as all entries must be submitted onto the Hytek system prior to meet deadline.
No other emails are monitored for competition entry. If the required information is not received to this email address, then entries cannot be processed.
When submitting an entry for a swimmer, please include
Meet name on the email title.
Swimmer Name, Swimmer's date of birth, Swim Ireland Membership Number
Events that the swimmer wishes to enter as per the published Meet Information.

Forest Feast AquaSprint
Swilly Seals also participates in a junior swimming league called the Forest Feast AquaSprint. This league promotes swimming for the younger swimmer, encouraging young people aged 8 to 12 to engage in competitive sports. Further information will be available at a later date.

Club Awards
Points for every swim is calculated (based on Development Qualifying Times) and added. At the end of season, best swimmers in different squads and group ages will be selected for prizes and trophies.
